HOMEWARD BOUND: THE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY —-is a 1993 remake of the 1962 Disney kiddie classic. It’s cute, nestly shot and all ends well by the time minute 84 fades. This time, instead of simple narration, the three animal heroes (American bulldog, Himalayan cat and Golden retriever) have ‘dialogue’, spoken by Michael J. Fox, Sally Field and Don Ameche. It was a sizable hit, making $42,000,000, and prodded a sequel three years later. Pleasant time twiddler was directed by Duwayne Dunham.
