BAIT was a real money loser when audiences did not fall for it in 2000, making back only 25% of its $51,000,000 budget.  Star Jamie Foxx had his TV show going, but after this poot it would be four more years before he’d square things with Collateral and Ray.

 This is supposed to be a comedy-action gig, but it’s so lame it aches.  Will our hero save his wife, from the bomb, in her car, at the racetrack? What do you think?
